GameDev Planet
GameDev Planet is a non-profit organization and Chile’s largest video game development community, bringing together enthusiasts, students, and industry veterans at a monthly meeting, founded in 2015. This interactive platform not only fuels creativity and innovation through the exchange of knowledge and ideas, but also provides a unique space for networking and showcasing games in development.
Every month, GameDev Planet brings together enthusiasts, students, and veterans of Chile’s video game development industry with the aim of creating an inclusive environment that promotes collaborative video game development and supports aspiring and existing developers.
My contribution to the project
Assistant producer
- I joined a game development meetup to build a network of industry contacts in Chile.
- I assisted organizing more than 40 meetups in Chile with 200 people attending.
- I assisted organizing key industry events in Chile, such as Chile Games Conference (CGC, 2023).
- I designed and developed the new website of the organization.
- I managed the live sound of all the meetups.
- I attended the audience and supported the exhibitors at the meetups.
